X0XB0X probleme midi in et usb!

1. MIDI transpose. Send a note between C2 and C4(C3 and C5 on some devices) to transpose the current running pattern in pattern play mode.

2. MIDI sysex. The x0xb0x can now send and receive pattern banks via MIDI sysex. In keyboard mode, press R/S and NEXT to dump the pattern bank the bank knob points to. Press R/S and PREV to load a bank into the pattern bank the bank knob point to. NOTE: turning the bank knob in keyboard mode will change the bank you want to send/receive to but also change the MIDI out channel. NOTE2: It is perfectly possible to royally screw up things with MIDI sysex receive, please dump your patterns via the excellent application available at the x0xb0x forum before you start experimenting.

3. Press the TEMPO knob in edit mode to toggle triplet mode. Triplet patterns can be maximum 15 notes long. (A regular pattern of 16 notes will be truncated to 15.)

4. Transpose a pattern in edit mode. Press PREV and UP or DOWN for transposing the pattern in half note steps. NOTE: a note can not be transposed out of range, be careful with patterns on the boundaries.

super ca marche! et ca garde en mémoire les patterns et songs

donc pour résumer:

1 installer le driver USB : http://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/VCP.htm
2 relier la x0x au pc via le cable usb.
3 démarrer la x0x en mode "bootload"
4 exécuter "control.exe"
5 dans le menu SERIAL choisir le port COM3 (=USB)
6 sans le menu XOXBOX choisir "upload firmware"
7 sélectionner le fichier .hex
8 l'upload se lance. Attendre qu'ils se finisse
9 Eteindre la x0x
10 L'allumer mais pas en mode bootload

et oui les modifs sont apportées, notamment la transposition midi en mode play

Yep effectivement j'avais oublié de préciser qu'il faut commencer par installer le driver usb, ça fait tellement longtemps qu'il est installé sur le mien que j'avais zappé ce point de détail si crucial !!
