It's 2.0"across, and 2.715" long (in dir of mtg screws). I think that the Moog power transformer is 30VCT at 300 mA. I am not positive about this. I am using Radio Shack 25.2VCT at 450 mA. So far so good. I plan to increase the two main filter caps to 2200 uF to reduce the ripple and provide a higher average voltage. The power transformer seems to be mounted on top of a piece of aluminum that is maybe 1/8" thick, or even a little thicker. At first I thought maybe this was extra support for the weight of the transformer, but I am thinking that it may simply be to allow replacing the transformer if necessary.
Minimoog Documentation Errata, notes R. Grieb 8/28/2012
1) Osc schematic seems to show conn pins 17A, 18A, 19A connected
to -5V sense, but 17A is -5V out, and 19A is used for -5V in
and is not connected to -5V sense on the pcb.
2) Resistor R59 is missing from the front panel assembly parts list
Not really an error, as this wouldn't be used with the third
version of the oscillator board
3) Front panel assy parts list shows R34 as 3.3K, but it's
actually 1.5K
4) Front panel parts list shows 12 rotary switches, but
the correct number is 6
5) Front panel parts list shows 2 blue rocker switches
but the correct number is 8
6) VCO parts list should show R41, R99, R153, as 910 ohms
7) VCO parts list should show R2, R54, R112, as 910K ohms
8) VCO parts list should show R156, R163, R171, as 33K ohms
9) Contour parts list shows R60 as 100 ohm and 100K. It's 100K
10) Contour parts list shows R54 as 15K, but it should be 1.5K
11) P/S parts list shows C12 as 5.6 uF Polyester, but it's tantalum
12) P/S parts list shows R42 and R50 as 6.2 ohm, but they are 6.2K
13) P/S parts list includes R55 twice (with the correct value)
14) Filter parts list shows R2 as 82K, but it's 160K in mods list
in service manual
15) Filter parts list shows R1 as 2.2M but all 4 bds I have
photos of have 47 ohm here
16) Filter parts list shows R8, R28 as 8.2 ohms, but mods list
in service manual has them as 4.7 ohms
17) Filter parts list shows R40 as 2.2K ohms, but mods list
in service manual has it as 10K ohms
18) Filter parts list includes R41, R52 and R59 twice
19) Filter pcb schematic does not show pin 2, which is Gnd connection
20) Contour pcb schematic shows pin 5 of SO-4 keybd connector as "NOT USED",
but in Front Panel Assembly wiring diagram, it connects to CO2B-20.
It seems to have the keyboard trigger on it, same is SO-4 pin 6, but
not sure, since there is no keybd circuit schematic. The left hand
controller schematic does not show pins 5 and 6 of SO-4 being connected
together. It doesn't show the keybd side connections.
21) Figure 9-12 in the Norlin service manual shows PL-2 Pin 10 connected to
SW 1401 pin 2, but Figure 9-15 shows it correctly connected to pin 3
of the switch.
