Hermann Seib, Waveterm C 23min video, 85Mb : http://www.ppg.synth.net/events/video/hermann_divx.avi

This track was done in an effort to explore the PPG Waveterm B. Thanks to the diligent and generous effort of Wolfgang Palm, I am able to use my converted Waveterm B with my PPG Wave 2.2. All sounds are DIY - no factory sounds - not even factory wavetables - are used. I sampled various acoustic and electric instruments into the Waveterm, but I also painstakingly recreated the harmonic spectrum of many instruments by entering each partial's amplitude value by hand. These 60 or so waves make up the wavetable used in the track. Instruments sampled or analyzed include Tibetan temple horn, thighbone trumpet, tablas, sarangi, some drum machines, bass guitar, Hammond M3, mandolin, dulcimer, singing bowls, Mellotron choir, Minimoog, voice, bamboo flute, gong and drum machine sounds. The full recording occupied 32 tracks.
