Artist/activist engaged in research in the field of sound art ; (specific site installations, concerts). As a musician, he composes and plays pieces using electronics,, phonography, analog synthesizers and the hurdy-gurdy. its sound art research questions the perception and physicality of sound spaces. He has played with Phil Niblock, Yann Gourdon, Richard Glover, Brice Jeannin, Patrice Grente, Robert Poss, Paul Panhuysen, Marie Verry and he’s also independant curator & editor of the collection “oh cet echo” at Les presses du réel.

JULIEN BEAU

French composer, he lives and works in Paris since 2010. He works in the fields of acousmatic music and sound art, combining recordings and improvisation, offering “acoustic and electronic sources for a chaotic mixture of sonic and textural elements”. Pianist who studied classical and romantic music during his youth, he learned with Christian Eloy electroacoustic composition at Bordeaux. His music has been played in France, Belgium, US and Canada with the support of “Scrime”, “Musiques&Recherches” and “Grm”. He has also published his first CD Reflet with “Aposiopèse”. Installation, workshop, sound map, sound sculpture, radio art, audio/visual, danse or drama, he tries to explore all kind of artistic experiments using sound. As a duo, he follows the russian artist Anastasia Bolchakova on ephemeral exhibitions in Paris. They performed in galleries such as “Rtr” and soon “Agnes B”.

PAUL BOUDEAU

Co-founder of “colectif~Sin” and “Lab_sin_01 Asbl”, he plays music alone, with his collective or during ponctual collaborations.
He develops computer systems of generating and peformative sounds for sculptures, musical instruments and space. Paul boudeau’s music performances fluctuate between contextual “inframince” situations and physical experiences. His pratice is involving in a search and a standpoint, in relation to language and data processing.
Live and works in Brussels.

J'ai rencontré en backstage Mad Mike, le Godfather de la techno, un moment inoubliable.
